Had the opportunity to attend the 51st Annual Washoe County School District JROTC Drill Meet last weekend where cadets from across the Washoe County School District along with cadets from Carson High School and Churchill High School competed in the competition. The JROTC program, with a mission to motivate young people to be better citizens, is best characterized by instilling pride, leadership, and excellence in its participants. Congratulations to those who participated.
